NASONEX is nasal allergy spray approved for the treatment of seasonal andperennial nasal allergy symptoms in adults and children 2 years of age andolder. Taken just once a day helps relieve an itchy, runny nose; sneezing; andcongestion.
Nasonex helps by treating nasal allergy symptoms caused by dust mites, petdander, even tree and grass pollen. Improvement can occur within 11 hours ofinitial treatment (based on studies done in a park during the pollen season andin a controlled pollen exposure room). The full benefit of Nasonex is usuallyachieved within 1 to 2 weeks. To help prevent most seasonal nasal allergysymptoms before they start, begin treatment 2 to 4 weeks before theanticipated start of the pollen season. It is important that you take Nasonexregularly at the time recommended by your physician, since its effectivenessdepends on regular use.
