This medicine is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor used along with diet, exercise, and sometimes other medicine to treat diabetes.

With this medicine, sucrose (table sugar) products cannot treat low blood sugar reactions. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do NOT take 2 doses at once.

Possible side effects
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include diarrhea, stomach pain, gas, or rash. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience frequent urination, hunger, thirst, or unexplained weight loss.
