Epinastine eye solution What is epinastineeye solution? EPINASTINE is an antihistamine eye solution. Epinastine helps to preventitching of the eye caused by allergies. Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to yourprescriber or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome): •burning, stinging, tearing, or discomfort in the eyes immediately afteruse •cough or cold symptoms •headache •itching of the eyes •runny or stuffy nose What should I watch for whiletaking epinastine? Tell your prescriber or health care professional if your symptoms do not startto improve in 2 or 3 days.
Report any serious side effects promptly. Stop using this drug if your eyes getinflamed, painful, or have a discharge, and see your prescriber or health careprofessional as soon as you can.
Be careful not to touch the tip of the dispensing container onto the eye, orany other surface. Serious eye infections can result from contamination of eyedrops.
If you wear contact lenses, do not wear them if your eyes are red. This eyedrop should not be used to treat contact lens-related irritation.
